Accreditation & Safety
B.LĒV surgery center, which opened in 2015, has received full accreditation from QUAD A, a non-profit, physician-founded global accreditation organization. This certification is considered the gold standard for outpatient surgical facilities.
QUAD A accreditation means:
- Outpatient and office-based facilities are held to hospital standards
- Surgeons are board-certified and have hospital privileges for any procedure performed in a surgical facility
- Professional anesthesia providers are required for certain levels of anesthesia
- The surgical environment, including all equipment and medications, are held to specific standards at all times to ensure optimal safety and the highest quality surgeries

Dr. Jennifer Harrington
Medical Director of B.LĒV Surgery Center, Dr. Harrington is a board-certified plastic surgeon and an adjunct professor at the University of Minnesota. She is recognized as one of the best female plastic surgeons in the U.S.

Dr. Steven Jacobson
Dr. Jacobson completed his surgical residency at Mayo and has won multiple awards for his surgical skill and patient care. He is board-certified in plastic surgery, and is a past president of the Minnesota Society of Plastic Surgeons.

ancillary services you may need. These include a full-service Lab, on-site Pharmacy,
advanced Imaging and Ultrasound, and even the Interlude Restorative Care Suites
for extended recovery.
Advanced Disinfection Technology
Our commitment to safety includes the use of Tru-D UV disinfection devices for enhanced, thorough disinfection in our operating suite, exam rooms and other areas where germs may be present. This device improves sterilization to reduce risk of infection during surgical procedures.
